If you or someone in your barn is an active USEF member, you can benefit from our Horse Import feature. This feature will save you time and sync your BarnManager Horses with USEF's database. It also provides you with shortcuts to your Horses' USEF Competition Results and their USEF ID card.

So how do you import a horse from USEF?

  1. Go to your Horses tab.

  2. Select "Import" Button.

  3. Select "USEF" and then "Ok."

  4. Enter the USEF ID of one or multiple horses (separated by commas).

  5. Click Search.

  6. For each horse, select if you would like to Create a new Horse or Merge the USEF Data with an existing horse in your BarnManager account.

  7. Select Import.

You can then visit your Imported and any horses that may have been Revoked at the similarly named tabs.

Owner permission must be granted in order to import a horse's data into BarnManager. If the horse owner has not granted permission, the import will show as Pending until they do.

The horse owner will receive an email from the USEF when you request to import their horse's data into BarnManager. That email will include instructions on how to grant that permission. You can also check out this article for more information about granting permission in your USEF settings.
