Calendar Visibility and Permissions for Clients

Control which users can see your calendar and what level of access they have.

Written by Abby

You can control whether your clients and staff members can see the calendar, and what level of access they have. If a user reports that they cannot see the calendar or events, check their permissions using the steps below.

How to Check and Set Calendar Permissions

  1. Click on Account (upper right-hand corner).

  2. Select Admin.

  3. Go to the Users & Permissions tab.

  4. Select the user whose calendar access you want to adjust.

  5. Scroll down to the Features permissions grid.

  6. Find the Calendar row and set the desired permission level:

    • No Access β€” The user will not see the calendar at all.

    • Read Only β€” The user can view events but cannot create or edit them.

    • Full Access β€” The user can view, create, and edit events.

  7. Click Save at the bottom of the page.

Common Issues

  • Client can't see any events: Make sure the Calendar feature is set to at least "Read Only" for that user. Also check that the user has the relevant horses assigned to them, since calendar events linked to specific horses will only be visible to users with access to those horses.

  • Client can see some events but not others: This is usually a horse-level permission issue. The user can only see events associated with horses they have been granted access to.

Only users with Admin permissions can change other users' permissions. If you need help, contact your account admin or reach out to us via chat.
